Charles Halloran, an Irish immigrant, settled in South Boston in the 1930’s, supporting his family by cutting hair from a young age. After joining the Air Force in World War II, Halloran moved to Southern Maine before opening the Millcreek Barbershop in 1957. It has been a staple of the Southern Maine community ever since!

 

The shop was first sold in the late 1970’s. In 2022, brothers and longtime employees Joe and Andy Souza bought the shop from the previous owner. They are excited to continue this shop’s beautiful history and provide customers with a great atmosphere and great service.
